Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Ascension Saint Thomas. As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring the highest level of care and quality outcomes.
• Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
• Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, ensuring a smooth transition to post-acute care.

• Licensure: Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Tennessee or compact state.
• Certification: Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification within 6 months of hire date.
• Education: Diploma from an accredited school of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.

ICU experience is highly preferred, with a strong understanding of critical care principles and practices.
