Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Nurse Practitioner in McMinnville, Oregon ! This role in onsite / in person at a primary care clinic. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration:

Type: Three-month contract, possible contract to fulltime offer

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7am to 5pm.

Pay: $70.00 to $80.00 an hour

Responsibilities of the Nurse Practitioner:

  • Examines, treats, and advises patients on physical and mental health, and makes referrals to appropriate social or medical providers as needed.

  • Prescribes pharmaceuticals, other medications and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions.

  • Performs minor procedures

  • Communication with specialists and/or referral entities including documentation

  • Observes, assesses, and records symptoms, reactions, and progress; utilizes knowledge of modern methods and techniques of diagnosing and treating a variety of diseases and injuries.

  • Provides accurate, timely, and complete documentation in patient records including providing appropriate code level and diagnosis of patient visits using coding standards.

  • Charts treatment records and monitors results in electronic health record.

  • Supplies patients with appropriate paperwork as needed.

  • Displays sensitivity to the populations served.

  • Contributes professional medical expertise to the consultative, educational, and evaluative activities of other medical and mental health professionals and clinical support staff.

  • Provides oversight of support staff with respect to individual patient management.

  • Participates in team huddles to review the schedule at the start of the clinic day.

  • Participates in process and quality improvement workflows.

  • Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance.

  • Attends required meetings and in-services and participates in committees as requested.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications for the Nurse Practitioner:

· Active and unrestricted license in Oregon

· NP: Graduate of an accredited Master of Science Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice program

· 2+ years of Primary Care experience

· Intermediate or higher proficiency of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word)

· Experience and proficiency using Electronic Health Records.

· Need to credentialed by one of the following: Blue Cross Blue Shield, Moda, or Providence; and also Medicare credentialed
