Title: K-12 Speech Language Pathologists

Job Type: 1099 Contract

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled K-12 Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. In this role, you will work across all grade levels to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for students with speech and language disorders. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping students improve their communication skills, which are crucial for their academic and social success.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech and language abilities to diagnose disorders and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with a range of speech and language disorders, including articulation, fluency, language delay, and social communication issues.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement effective strategies and accommodations for students with speech and language needs.
  • Monitor and track student progress, adjusting therapy techniques and goals as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
  • Educate and train school staff and parents on strategies to support speech and language development in the classroom and at home.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working with students from kindergarten through 12th grade, preferably in a school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, assessment techniques, and evidence-based intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with advancements in the field.
