Position Overview:
Senior Helpers Honolulu is looking for a reliable and compassionate Personal Care Aide to provide exceptional care to a veteran in Pearl City. This is an immediate hire position, and the ideal candidate will have experience in personal care, a strong sense of empathy, and a commitment to improving the quality of life for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily living activities such as bed bath, dressing, grooming, mobility and eating
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Monitor and report any changes in the client’s health or behavior
- Meal preparation
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for the client
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a personal care aide or in a similar role
- Must have hands-on experiences with bed bath, incontinent care and other ADLs, or Nurse Aid Training / Certifications
- Must be available to work 25hrs/week in Pearl City (Mon - Sat)
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Compassionate, patient, and caring demeanor
- Ability to follow care plans and work independently
- 2 step TB clearance
