Claris Vision is seeking a full-time or part-time Nurse Practitioner to join our Ophthalmology and Optometry practices to support retina, glaucoma and other vision health requirements.
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will perform minor lid procedures and Aesthetics (Botox/fillers).
Responsibilities Work collaboratively with Ophthalmologists, Optometrists, the Practice Manager, and other medical office staff Ensure best possible practice according to up-to-date research is followed Read and interpret a range of patient medical, medication, history and care plans Use clinical judgment to access further diagnostics, treatment etc. Communicate and liaise effectively with internal departments and external agencies to arrange and confirm ongoing pathways of care, and provide written communication and referral documentation as required. Performs aesthetics and minor procedures
Requirements
Desired Qualifications: Certification/training for aesthetic injections (i.e., Botox/Fillers, IVs) is a plus, but not required)
Requirements Must possess a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Must be licensed in the state of operation Must possess the physical, mental, and cognitive skills needed to complete essential tasks, including abilities such as learning, remembering, focusing, categorizing, and integrating information for comprehension, problem-solving, and timely decision-making. Must possess the physical, mental, and cognitive skills needed to complete essential tasks, including abilities such as learning, remembering, focusing, categorizing, and integrating information for comprehension, problem-solving, and timely decision-making.
Physical Requirements: Sitting, Standing, Bending, Reaching, Stooping, Walking and Lifting Ability to see, hear, and speak with sufficient capability to perform assigned tasks Driving independently to other facilities
Working Conditions: Travel to other locations may be necessary at times. Occupational Exposure - Category Ill exposure to blood-borne pathogens and may encounter chemical hazards.
