location. The Operations Manager will plan, develop, and establish processes to meet all customer requirements. The Operations Manager has the overall responsibility of the shop floor. The Ops Manager must also possess the technical knowledge, skills, and excellent decision-making skills which pertains to: Product, production, equipment, and customer requirements. Aids the General Manager in formulating and administering organization policies: Participates in formulating and administering company policies and develops long range goals and objectives. The Ops Manager is also responsible for implementing, facilitating, and ensuring the compliance of all safety requirements and guidelines. Must be skilled enough to distinguish what type of training is to be provided to the personnel and coordinate any outside training to meet the requirements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintaining close surveillance over production through observation, personal contact, and staff meetings to assure coordination and integration of workflow, timely production turnarounds, schedules, and utilization of personnel in the most cost-effective method and discipline. Coordinating activities of departments for which responsibility is delegated to further attainment of goals and objectives. Conduct or facilitate safety training curriculum. Responsible for Job training requirements per established procedures and ensure skill matrices for each area are maintained. Responsible for labor clocking discipline and review to standard. Shall be part of yearly budget planning to support head count and capital equipment needs. Responsible for creating operational plans to support budget. Responsible for capital equipment selection, installation, and startup. Responsible for shop floor layout and optimization of workflow. Responsible for emergency and hazardous situations. Oversee production schedules to optimize productivity through efficient and economical production throughout the shop to meet established goals and objectives Working closely with the Quality Manager to implement, maintain, and ensure that quality goals and objectives are being met. Ensuring that Supervisor’s and other assistance personnel are meeting their required goals and objectives. Use job performance data to improvement efficiencies regarding the shop, product, and process. Responsible for the preventive maintenance requirements program. Shall be part of MRB team and corrective and preventative action board. Perform all functions of the job while adhering to established quality policies and procedures. Demonstrated management experience. CNC machining experience. CNC Programming experience. Mechanical Assembly experience Software proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and ERP. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Must be adaptable to a changing work environment and competing demands Customer service oriented Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Excellent knowledge of brazing of SST, steel, aluminum, copper, and other metals Education and/or

Experience

: BS degree in Engineering or Operational Management Possess broad knowledge of a discipline such as electrical, chemical, or mechanical engineering, equal to a college degree. Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in a related field Has a working knowledge of AS9100 quality system a plus Physical Demands:
