Job Description

The Project Coordinator is expected to offer administrative support for a contract-based project workload which includes; accountability of assigned projects, daily management of resources, adherence to organizational processes. Expected to assist in multiple aspects of each assigned project including; phasing, coordinating product for order and supply, submitting/obtaining change orders, communicating with contractors/trades, and helping their team deliver projects within the organization’s financial expectations. Provide excellent customer service and align all practices with organization objectives.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities :

Maintain electronic filing and logs based on project requirements Prepare transmittals with architect, manufacturer, general contractor, etc. Assist with release of project materials for purchase and/or fabrication Coordinate delivery of material to jobsite or contractor Assist with setting phasing of doors/frames/hardware for phased projects Verify material delivery and expedite material with Purchasing department as needed Collect information or research as requested on change requests/RFI’s/Addendums Work with warranties and replacements departments on shortages & faulty product Assist with project closeout and punch list Provide superior customer service and continue to develop and strengthen professional relationship with contractor Assist Project Management team with field measuring Visit jobsites or contractors’ office to deliver/collect product, take photos, etc.

Qualifications

2-year’s experience in an office environment Strong oral/written communication skills Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook Strong time management and organizational skills Positive attitude and willingness to learn and contribute Ability to work independently and as part of a team Position requires a valid driver’s license and be insurable to drive

Standard business hours are 8am-5pm

Salary:

$25-$28/hr, based on experience
