Vancouver Clinic is seeking a Lead Medical Assistant with Phlebotomy in NW Portland!The Medical Assistant Lead acts as an extended resource to the leadership, as well as to the department employees and providers. Lead's daily work will encompass both the Lead and the patient care responsibilities; while assisting the department in achieving efficient work flow processes, high quality clinical outcomes, and exemplary patient experiences. This person possesses specific department knowledge for responsible service unit(s), and must be able to execute the day-to-day workflows as communicated by the leadership.Available Schedules: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pmMonday through Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pmMonday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pmEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program required.Proof of current national certification (AAMA, NCCT, NHA, AMT) required.Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS CPR of one year of experience as a Medical Assistant.Experience with an electronic health record, Epic experience strongly preferred.Completion of Oregon State-approved chaperone training required. PTO and Personal Time accruals are pro-rated by FTE/hours worked. Non-benefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked.
