The Role

The E-Commerce Marketplace Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing our presence across various online marketplaces such as Amazon, Walmart, and others. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of marketplace dynamics. The ideal candidate will work closely with marketing, sales, and purchasing teams to ensure our marketplace strategies align with overall business objectives and drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees and manages product listings on multiple e-commerce marketplaces, including creating, updating, and optimizing product value proposition to enhance visibility and drive conversions.
  • Develops and implements marketplace strategies to increase sales, improve ROI, and expand market share.
  • Analyzes performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth and areas for improvement.
  • Partners with the Purchasing department to perform regular inventory checks for all marketplace accounts to ensure accurate stock levels and address inventory-related concerns.
  • Plans and executes marketplace advertising campaigns and promotional activities. Optimizes ad spend and track campaign performance to achieve maximum ROI.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with purchasing, distribution, sales, and marketing departments to ensure marketplace fulfillment and align marketplace strategies with other business goals.
  • Delivers a seamless customer experience by addressing customer inquiries, managing reviews and feedback, and resolving any issues related to orders and product quality.
  • Maintains and manages relationships with key marketplace contacts to address any issues effectively.
  • Remains up to date with marketplace best practices, new trends, competitor activities, and marketplace updates.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in business, marketing, e-Commerce, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in e-commerce marketplace management or a similar role
  • Proven track record of driving sales and optimizing performance on platforms like Amazon, Walmart, etc.
  • Strong understanding of various e-commerce platforms and marketplace dynamics, including Amazon, eBay, Walmart, etc.
  • Proficiency in marketplace tools and software (e.g., Seller Central, Vendor Central, Marketplace Analytics).
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Experience with digital advertising and promotional strategies is a plus.
