We are seeking a Senior ElasticSearch Systems Engineer to join our Agile team in a DevSecOps environment. In this role, you will provide crucial support for a large enterprise ElasticSearch deployment in both cloud (AWS) and on-prem environments. Responsibilities include maintaining clusters, optimizing performance, upgrading clusters, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure production scalability and stability.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and optimize Elasticsearch clusters in a cloud-based environment
- Upgrade and troubleshoot Elasticsearch clusters
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on key deliverables
- Ensure security and implement best practices
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Elasticsearch Administration experience
- Experience with deploying and using Elasticsearch in Commercial Cloud Platforms
- Strong communication skills
**Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree with 12 or more years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 or more years of prior relevant experience.
**Candidate must have an active TS/SCI w/Poly
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on customer's systems
- Understanding of customer's system development policies
