MRI Technologist

We are growing our team and seeking highly skilled MRI Technologists to join our RAYUS Twin Cities team. As a PRN/casual MRI Technologist, you will have the flexibility to pick up extra hours when you can, while enjoying a work-life balance and growth opportunities.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and patient-focused MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI procedures, maintain accurate patient records, and provide exceptional customer service.

• Patient MRI Imaging (90%):
  • Screen patients before exams for any precautions or contradictions, using two patient identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure.
  • Explain and prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining the procedure and positioning patients for optimal results.
  • Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated portions of the body, providing patient support and ensuring accurate results.
  • Adjust MRI scan parameters correctly and as needed to ensure high-quality images.
  • Maintain positive relationships with radiologists, customers, and colleagues, while following safety regulations and protecting patients and coworkers.
  • Accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, promoting good safety habits for patients and coworkers.
  • Maintain ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements.
  • Clean and disinfect equipment after each use, ensuring proper maintenance and safety.
  • Ensure compliance with all HIPAA guidelines.
• MRI Department Support (5%):
  • Assist with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades.
  • Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as necessary.
  • Assist with training new associates, providing resource and technical expertise as applicable.
• Other Tasks (5%):
  • Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
