MRI Technologist
RAYUS Radiology, formerly Center for Diagnostic Imaging, is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will operate your assigned scanner(s) to produce high-quality images of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes. You will work closely with patients to provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care:
- Screen patients before exams to ensure safety and accuracy
- Explain procedures and prepare patients for MRI exams
- Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures with minimal supervision
- Provide patient support and comfort throughout the procedure
- Equipment Maintenance:
- Adjust MRI scan parameters correctly and as needed
- Maintain equipment in good working order
- Clean and disinfect equipment after each use
- Department Support:
- Assist with maintaining imaging protocol manuals and software upgrades
- Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as needed
- Assist with training new associates and provide technical expertise
Working Conditions:
- Part-time hours per week
- Day shifts typically 6:30am-3pm or 8:00am-4:30pm
- Weekend rotation
