Dental Hygienist

Scharf Periodontics is looking for a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist seeking an opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art dental practice. Schedule:

• Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday 8-5

Pay:

• $50-$55/hour

Key Reponsibilities:

• Review medical history and take blood pressure.
• Perform periodontal maintenance and oral exams for patients of all ages.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and disease prevention.
• Provide nonsurgical periodontal therapy.
• Provide Doctor with a summary of findings and concerns at periodic examination.
• Alert Doctor to areas of disease that may require intervention to restore health.
• Assist Doctor with root debridement during laser periodontal therapy.
• Take Dental X-rays and main tain accurate patient recrods.

Requirements:

• Graduation from accredited dental hygiene program.
• CPR certified.
• Strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Compensation:

• Pay- $50/hour plus bonus
