Are you a skilled phlebotomist with a passion for providing exceptional patient care? Join our team as a PSR II and contribute to the delivery of accurate diagnostic services.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care: Draw blood samples accurately and efficiently, creating a positive and reassuring environment for patients.
Specimen Processing: Prepare blood specimens for laboratory testing, following established procedures.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and team members to support efficient operations.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
Previous experience in a patient service center preferred
Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington)
High school diploma or equivalent
Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) a plus
Excellent customer service skills and ability to build rapport with patients
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work at various locations and shifts, including M-F 7 AM to 6 PM and Saturdays 8 AM to 12 PM
