Position Overview: The MOHS Surgeon will be responsible for performing MOHS micrographic surgery to treat skin cancer, ensuring complete tumor removal while preserving healthy tissue. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dermatologic surgery, excellent patient care skills, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform MOHS micrographic surgery, including pre-operative consultations, surgery, and post-operative care.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including dermatologists, pathologists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families about skin cancer prevention, treatment options, and post-operative care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Stay current with advancements in dermatologic surgery and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification in Dermatology.
  • Fellowship training in MOHS surgery.
  • Valid state medical license.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience performing MOHS surgery.
  • Excellent surgical and diagnostic skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
