Role: This role is within the fraud team and team make up includes fraud representatives, fraud investigators. This team works to identify and analyze data on a regular cadence to try and ascertain if fraud is occurring, why and how it is occurring. They look to build rules around preventing that. This is a very large analytics team that needs to be able to build end-to-end strategy around fraud in terms of the technical platform. This person needs to understand trends as new rules need to recreated as fraud trends change - things have really changed as this client has moved from a cable company to providing mobile, streaming and cable fraud, mobile fraud is a big deal. For example, fraudsters try to infiltrate a retail store and set up a fraudulent account, order accounts, and send them to an address, intercept them and then sell them. The broken code is within the on-prem SQL Server and needs to be analyzed corrected for better monitoring.
