Job Summary:

Denver Springs is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and contributing to the success of our behavioral health hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Provide High-Quality Patient Care: Coordinate and deliver quality general and psychiatric nursing care to patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Support the Organization's Mission: Align with the organization's philosophy of care and values, promoting a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
  • Collaborate with the Healthcare Team: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Advocate for Patients: Act as a patient advocate at all times, promoting their rights, dignity, and well-being.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing training and hold a current, unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing.
  • Certifications and Training: Possess CPR Certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.

Our hospital provides a full continuum of care for individuals struggling with mental health issues and/or chemical dependency, including inpatient treatment, partial day programming, and intensive outpatient services.
