Title :Manager, Regulatory Affairs & Compliance

What you'll do : Help lead the Overtime Elite (OTE) rules compliance program to protect athlete eligibility in a unique and dynamic environment, including monitoring financial aid, expenses, recruiting, academics, and more Lead internal communication with OTE staff and athletes regarding compliance policies and requirements; lead external communication with recruits, parents, coaches, agents, and others regarding the OTE rules compliance program Lead OTE's college recruiting process by coordinating and monitoring college coaches' evaluations and contact visits, coordinating players' college campus visits, ensuring compliance with NCAA recruiting rules and calendars, collaborating with college administrators regarding initial eligibility and admissions, supporting athletes and parents regarding initial eligibility requirements and processes Participate in OTE player onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions and coordinate with OTE recruiting staff regarding prospective and incoming player needs Conduct initial and ongoing academic evaluations for OTE athletes and work with OTE academic staff related to graduation timelines, core course requirements, and NCAA initial academic eligibility standards Review and maintain OTE NCAA-approved core course offerings and core course list Conduct periodic compliance reviews and audits, and update compliance policies and monitoring systems as needed Support OTE staff with the implementation and enforcement of player and parent policies, including code of conduct, sponsorships and endorsement policy, and related standards Conduct research and review of NCAA and high school association rules in connection with OTE programming and events Liaison with Overtime's VP of Regulatory Affairs and the legal affairs team regarding compliance monitoring, systems, player matters, and internal and external communications Perform other related tasks as requested Who you are :

A college sports administrator with a background in NCAA rules compliance An excellent communicator with strong oral and writing skills An adaptable professional who can think on their feet and navigate tight deadlines A sensible decision maker who exercises thoughtful risk analysis and good judgment A collaborative teammate with the ability to build and navigate relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally across sports industry Qualifications :

Minimum of three years experience working with NCAA rules compliance Understanding of initial eligibility requirements, including DI academic standards and pre-enrollment amateurism rules Sport-specific responsibilities with men's and/or women's basketball is a plus Ability to handle private records and maintain confidential information on behalf of others
