Colorado Visiting Nurse Association has an immediate opening for an Occupational Therapist.
Location: Any location in the Denver Metro Northwest Area
Status: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8-5 / 1 weekend a month/ 2 holidays per year
Per Visit Rates: $80,000 - $100,000 estimated annual salary
Supplemental Pay: Based on position, schedule and/or availability. Paid Mileage/Shift Diff/Stipends
Mileage and Expense Reimbursement: Sixty-two and a half cents per mile - one of the highest in the industry!

REWARDING WORK YOU WILL DO:
  • Provides initial and ongoing assessments determine level of function, including OASIS assessments at appropriate time point, safety evaluations and recommendations for home modifications.
  • The procedures required, as determined by the therapist, may include (but are not limited to): muscle re- education, ADL/IADL/MRADL training, adaptive equipment, orthotics/prosthetic, fine motor coordination, sensory rehabilitation, therapeutic exercise, energy conservation training, functional balance support training, work- hardening concepts, and cognitive assessments/interventions.
  • Collaborates across disciplines and with the provider to coordinate patient care; participates in the individualized patient plan of care (POC) development, modification, discharge planning, and participates in care conferences as assigned.
WHAT WE ARE GOING TO LOVE ABOUT YOU:
  • Minimum Education: Graduation from a college or university, with a degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Minimum Experience: One year of experience as an occupational therapist required, with two years of SNF, hospital or inpatient rehab preferable. Home health experience also preferred. Other requirements may vary by case or department needs.
  • Required License: Active Colorado OT license. Current CPR certification based on individual affiliate requirements.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift minimum of 50 lbs.
