Description & Requirements
The Senior Director of Quality for Veteran Evaluation Services (VES) leads the strategic direction and execution of quality initiatives to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and drive continuous improvement across the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Connect organizational objectives and quality with performance improvement activities to include development of goals and dashboards, collaborating on creation of the agendas for the steering committee and regularly presenting progress on specific programs. - Coordinate quality and risk management activities and promotes the integration of quality services and initiatives through collaboration with all departments. - Develop and revise policies and programs as needed to ensure compliance with licensing/accrediting standards and state/federal rules and regulations to ensure provision of quality services and to reduce vulnerability to fraud, abuse and waste. - Direct management of quality monitoring systems, quality reviews, analysis, corrective action. - Lead all compliance certifications and re-certifications, including ISO 9001 quality management standards. - Oversight of staff that conduct actions according to Federal, State and Corporate policies including HIPAA, HITECH, Personal Health Information (PHI) and Personal Identifying Information (PII). - Provide leadership for all compliance including ISO certification. - Oversight of contacts outside the business and develop contracts that meet the financial and professional goals of the business. - Leadership of negotiation and documentation of a variety of third party contractual relationships, including services, sales, and merchant processing agreements, amendments. - Partner with Client and corporate officers on external communications related to the project in regard to social media, press, print and community involvement. - Oversight of all executive administrative staff.
Minimum Requirements
- Direct and control the activities of one or more functional areas, divisions, product groups or service areas through senior managers who have overall responsibility for the successful operation of those assigned areas. - Consistently work with abstract ideas or situations across functional areas of the business. - Through assessment of intangible variables, identifies and evaluates fundamental issues, providing strategy and direction for major functional areas. - Require in-depth knowledge of the functional area, business strategies, and the company's goals. - Interact internally and externally with executive level management, requiring negotiation of extremely critical matters. - Influence policymaking. - Report to VP level.

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances.
