Mechanical Design Engineer

<strong>If you are a</strong><br><ul><li>Materials Engineer OR a Product Applications Engineer OR</li><li>a Material Science graduate with</li><li>a Bachelors Degree and</li><li>3D modeling software experience for manufacturing systems (especially steam or hydronic systems), consider applying for this position, which offers a tuition reimbursement program!</li></ul><br><strong>Description</strong><br><ul><li>Review existing products and systems to ensure they are customized for optimal customer operation and meet customer budgets and timeline</li><li>Collaborate with customers, suppliers, equipment manufacturers, R&D, engineering team, and sales team to better understand product needs and to assist in the development of those products</li><li>Write proposals and provide quotes to clients based on customer specifications</li><li>Create 3-D renderings or CAD drawings</li><li>Test products and process to ensure efficiency and quality and improve when necessary</li><li>Address customer concerns with product by reviewing and improving product through collaboration with other teams and hands-on testing and improvements</li><li>Help sales and marketing teams by training them on proper terminology and technical information to help them better talk about products</li><li>Work in office Monday-Friday 8-5 with 20% of the position requiring on-site travel</li></ul><br><strong>Compensation</strong><br><ul><li>$60-$85k/year DOE and degree (rare, but could go up for the right experience to about $115k/year)</li><li>Up to 20% annual bonus</li><li>Medical, dental, and vision insurance</li><li>401k with company match</li><li>2 weeks of PTO and 9 paid holidays</li><li>Tuition reimbursement</li></ul>
