We are seeking a Meat Cutter/Service Counter Associate to join our team! You will be responsible for cutting the meat case, grinding, making sausage and meat department inventory.
Responsibilities:
- Daily cutting of meat for the retail case
- Grind beef for burger and other cuts for sausage and brats.
- Fill and link fresh sausage and brats
- Interact with and support other store personnel
- Facilitate resolution of any meat department customer complaints
Qualifications:
- Meat cutting of sub-primals both bone-in and boneless
- Sausage making experience
- Knowledge of cuts of beef, pork, lamb, veal and poultry
- Knowledge of fish and seafood desirable but not necessary
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or other related fields
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong leadership qualities
