Overview The Senior Manager, US Congresses is part of the Medical Education Team within US TTR Marketing. This role will be pivotal in managing all aspects of Alnylam TTR Commercial presence at US congresses, including promotional booth design, educational and promotional assets, product symposia, and input into annual congress strategy. Additionally, this role will work with the larger Alnylam cross-functional team to give input on the creation of an advocacy and medical society strategy, as the lead for commercial Medical Education. This role will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders in marketing, marketing operations, compliance, legal, regulatory, and medical affairs to ensure seamless execution of congress and society strategy. The role requires up to 30% travel to congresses throughout the year and to Cambridge, MA. Key Responsibilities In partnership with Marketing Operations and Medical, plan Commercial activities at US Congresses. Along with the greater team, provide strategic input on the overall commercial congress strategy for Alnylam. Lead the development of commercial exhibit assets and associated launch materials for use at US congresses and manage the approval workstreams. Provide on-site support at designated Congresses throughout the year. In collaboration with Thought Leader Liaison team, manage identification and develop contracts for external presenters engaged in commercial presentations. Collaborate with legal, regulatory, and compliance stakeholders to ensure compliant development and execution of congress activities and educational programming. Effectively maintain relationships with Agency Partners. Qualifications 6+ years' experience preferred with at least 3 years of pharmaceutical or biotech experience. Demonstrated understanding of the Medical, Legal, Regulatory (MLR) process and commercial congress strategy. Strategic mindset with ability to work across functions and gain alignment. Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize in an evolving environment. Proven ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally to drive business results in a fast-paced environment. Vendor management experience. Excellent verbal/written communication and listening skills; developing and maintaining professional relationships.
