Key Responsibilities:
- Automation Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive automation strategy for the manufacturing process.
- Identify areas within the manufacturing process that can benefit from automation.
- Evaluate and select appropriate automation technologies and solutions.
- Project Management:
- Lead automation projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for automation projects.
- System Integration:
- Oversee the integration of automated systems into existing manufacturing processes.
- Ensure compatibility and interoperability between new automation technologies and current systems.
- Work with IT and engineering teams to ensure proper installation, configuration, and maintenance of automation systems.
- Process Improvement:
- Analyze manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Implement automation solutions to enhance process efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of automated systems to ensure optimal operation.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of automation engineers and technicians.
- Provide training and support to team members on automation technologies and best practices.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure that all automation systems and processes comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Implement safety protocols and procedures for automated equipment and systems.

- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and present reports on automation project status, performance metrics, and outcomes.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Automation, or a related field.
- Proven experience in manufacturing automation, with a minimum of [X] years in a managerial role.
