At Onsite, we offer the latest 3D tomosynthesis digital mammography equipment in an OB/Gyn office environment and do not require weekend or evening shifts.

If you are an experienced mammographer who can work independently and desires to make a difference for every patient, join us as a Per Diem.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Must be current on all Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits.
  • Highly patient-centric, compassionate, and proficient with computers.
  • Capable of performing various technical tasks associated with screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.
  • Flexible with strong multitasking abilities.
  • Willingness to cover shifts on short notice.

Responsibilities:

  • Specialize in producing screening and diagnostic mammograms to detect breast cancers and lesions.
  • Ensure the success of mammography services in the practice, assisting in ensuring all eligible patients receive annual screening mammograms.
  • Prepare patients for mammographic procedures, explaining processes and ensuring patient cooperation.
  • Position and adjust mammographic equipment, set exposure factors, and adhere to radiation protection guidelines.
  • Monitor image quality and maintain equipment functionality.
  • Perform required Quality Assurance (QA) testing to comply with MQSA, ACR, and State regulations.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and accurately process paperwork and data entry.
  • Participate in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliations.
  • Prepare necessary reports and data as per MQSA and State requirements.
  • Assist Radiologists with QA/QC reporting and maintain all necessary QA documents for FDA inspections.
  • Obtain and maintain ACR accreditation.
