The Role: This position focuses on performing Digital Mammography and ABUS (Automated Breast Ultrasound) at a high technical standard, producing top-quality images essential for cancer screening. Onsite Women's Health sets the standard in breast cancer screening, making it more accessible and convenient for women.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

ARRT certification required. Minimum 5 years of practical experience. Up-to-date CMEs as per State and National accreditation requirements. Self-driven with the ability to work autonomously. Valid state license where applicable. Strong focus on patient care, empathy, and proficiency in using computers. Capable of performing a variety of technical tasks associated with screening and diagnostic mammography procedures. Flexibility and adeptness at multitasking.

Responsibilities:

Preferably dual-registered in mammography and breast ultrasound; mammography-only candidates will also be considered. Expertise in producing screening and diagnostic mammograms to detect breast cancers and lesions. Champion the success of the mammography service within the practice. Assist in ensuring all eligible patients receive annual screening mammograms, especially critical during initial practice establishment. Prepare patients for mammographic procedures, explaining processes to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation. Position and adjust mammography equipment, set exposure factors, and adhere to radiation protection guidelines. Monitor image quality and maintain equipment functionality. Conduct required QA testing to comply with MQSA, ACR, and State regulations. Uphold patient confidentiality and accurately process paperwork and data entry. Engage in continuous professional development and maintain affiliations. Prepare necessary reports and data as per MQSA and State requirements.
