We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for 3rd Shift - 11PM-7:30AM
  • Qualified candidates will possess strong electrical and mechanical skills to support pharmaceutical manufacturing operations in Seymour, IN.
  • The successful candidate will support all plant Electrical and mechanical Systems by providing technical expertise and maintenance support to ensure maximum uptime.
  • Actively support the Manufacturing organization through troubleshooting, problem identification and resolution. Depending on the complexity and urgency of the issue this activity may be direct hands-on trouble shooting together with supervising contractors in a 24/7 manufacturing
  • Ensure preventative and predictive maintenance systems are in place and that tasks and required repair actions are properly prioritized and completed to assure maximum system reliability in a cost-effective manner.
  • Maintain and enhance existing systems by increasing functionality and reliability of these systems to improve items such as decreased setup time, simplified machine operation, ease of troubleshooting.
  • Perform in house calibrations of process instructions and complete documentation required to meet cGMP requirements.

  • Desire and ability to participate in a collaborative team-based environment to support accomplishment of company goals while remaining focused on individual goals and the contribution of the Maintenance Department.
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems, and HVAC Must be current with this technology and capable of trouble shooting and repair.
  • Working knowledge of industrial process control equipment including PC based HMI systems used in the Seymour facility.
  • Working knowledge of industrial facility infrastructure - compressors, recirculating water systems, conveying systems, fire safety systems, Familiar with NEMA and IEC
  • Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills that allow individual success in a very results-oriented
  • Excellent communications & influencing skills in an environment of multiple disciplines and varying skills requirements.

  • Able to administer Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software including generating, closing, and recording work orders to meet cGMP

  • Minimum 2 to 5 years' relevant
  • Experience supervising contractors.
  • Experience identifying and executing equipment improvements.
  • Strong background in a planned, proactive maintenance environment.
  • Demonstrable ability to work independently as well as team oriented to achieve maintenance goals.
