About the role: The Maintenance Supervisor coordinates and schedules maintenance personnel to meet the goals and needs of the Plant. As a working supervisor, this role prioritizes tasks and assigns the appropriate resources to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency as well as supports the maintenance department in completing tasks and assignments as needed. This role is key to maintaining a safe work environment for all employees and ensures proper safety measures are utilized while maintenance personnel are engaged in troubleshooting, repairing, and conducting preventive maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator who works collaboratively to solve problems and creates a positive work environment.


Responsibilities:

Oversee daily maintenance activities; identify and remove roadblocks to

success

Identify, troubleshoot, and support the corrective actions to address issues

that arise

Ensure repairs are being completed to reduce downtime

Utilize the maintenance software system to track maintenance request and

preventive maintenance projects

Establish excellent working relationships with all departments

Additional skills and/or experience required for success in the role:

5 years of maintenance experience in a similar manufacturing environment

3 years of experience in fastener manufacturing

In-depth knowledge of cold heading manufacturing and it's equipment

Excellent communication skills including oral and written; strong listening skills

Excellent computer skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook

Ability to relate to all types of people, exhibits trust and integrity; embraces MNP

culture

Able to work in a team environment

Able to lift a maximum of 50 pounds

Able to pass a pre-employment, post-offer physical, drug screen

Able to pass a background check
