Maintenance Generalist - 2nd Shift - Carthage Tx

<b>Job Details:</b> <br> <br> <b>Schedule: Monday - Friday with on call weekends </b> <br> <br> <b>Hours: 2:30 pm - 10:30 pm </b> <br> <br> <b>Pay - 24.35/hr. </b> <br> <br> <b>Job Description:</b> <br> <br> <ul> <li>Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures, provide troubleshooting and repair of any mechanical malfunction, prepare written documentation of actions taken to correct equipment problems, respond to mechanical or electrical breakdowns and handle emergency situations, perform preventative maintenance according to schedule, complete appropriate paperwork and reports.</li> <li> Must comply with lockout tagout, confined space, and all other safety programs. </li> <li>Must be able to perform mechanical and basic electrical trouble shooting and repairs. </li> <li>Able to perform diagnosis and repairs without supervision. </li> <li>Capable of starting all equipment before production startup and shutdown without supervision. </li> <li>Ability to assist with other mechanics as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. </li> <li>Work in temperatures that will vary with outside ambient temperatures and humidity. It can be dusty, warm, cold and/or humid.</li> <li>The position's physical requirements will include standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, stooping and the ability to climb ladders, lifts, and scaffolds, lifting will also be required and depending on department could be up to 70lbs. </li> <li>Must be able to drive and maneuver a tractor/trailer in a confined yard at low speed.
