Director of Corporate Fundraising

The Director of Corporate Fundraising will serve as an organizational expert on corporate fundraising and work toward corporate fundraising targets. This position will develop and implement fundraising strategies and programs for corporate major gifts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Implements and maintains a program for corporate fundraising, including identification of prospects and supporting current partnerships
• Researches and develops corporate fundraising strategies
• Develops and delivers fundraising proposals and applications to prospective or existing partners
• Develop a new portfolio of corporate relationships including account management and delivering communications
• Delivers presentations to internal and external stakeholders on fundraising strategies and outcomes
• Collaborates with internal departments and external partners to maximize fundraising income
• Professionally represents the organization at external engagements and networking events
• Maintains required documentation of all major gifts and partnerships
• Monitors and evaluates fundraising activities and outcomes, ensuring quality and consistency with organization mission
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, Organizational Development or related field
• Minimum of seven years of related experience working with a non-profit in fundraising and/or marketing including experience with corporate fundraising principals and techniques
• Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining relationships with corporate and community supporters
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation and negotiation
• Computer proficiency in MS Office and able to learn other software as needed
• Ability to pass required background checks and clearances
• Valid driver's license and, depending on work location, may be required to have daily access to privately maintained and insured vehicle
