Sales Account Manager - Pocono Area

We are looking for a dynamic individual to grow our successful Environmental Services business.
This position is often the first contact with new customers, so professionalism and accuracy are imperative. The Sales Account Manager - Pocono Area, must represent the Company in the highest of standards, requiring strong communication and negotiation skills.
Essential Functions:
1. Identify potential new business. 2. Meet monthly sales targets. 3. Increase Company presence in assigned territories. 4. Manage current accounts ensuring customer satisfaction. 5. Analyze accounts to ensure the prospective customer is being quoted accurately and the proper solutions are being implemented. 6. Perform cold calls daily to prospective customers. 7. Provide quotes to prospective customers. 8. Maintain sales reports and submit them to their superior.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1. A strong customer service focus and excellent customer service skills that meet the requirements of the company. 2. Excellent oral and written communications skills and the ability to carryout oral and written instructions. 3. Computer literacy. 4. Ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships with co-workers, employees, managers, officials, and the general public. 5. Knowledge and/or experience of applicable sales practices and company policies and procedures as they pertain to the Sales Department.
Training and Experience:
1. A minimum 1-3 years experience as a sales professional performing outside sales, preferably in a solutions and service industry. 2. A college degree or equivalent work experience. 3. A grasp of sales and negotiation tactics and practices. 4. Working knowledge of MS Office products.
Job Qualifications:
1. Ability to sit for long periods of time. 2. Ability to drive a motor vehicle for long periods of time. 3. Ability to lift up to 15 pounds. 4. Ability to operate a telephone and a personal computer for long periods of time. 5. Ability to prioritize tasks. 6. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. 7. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. 8. Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment with little or no direct supervision.
