Fluid Power Assembly Technician jml

Essential Job Functions and Performance Standards:

•Construction of hydraulic systems •Read schematics/diagrams/blueprints •Welding, fabrication, tube bending •Hose assembly •Use hand/power tools and machining equipment (i.e. drill press, mill, lathe, etc.) •Pneumatic paint spraying •Hydraulic test equipment and test stand operation •Troubleshoot circuits •Forklift operation •Other responsibilities and/or projects as assigned by management

Work Environment:

Climate controlled shop environment

Requirements:

Education: High school degree, GED, or equivalent required AAS in mechanical field a plus Ongoing willingness to continue educational learning/training

Licenses/Certificates: None

Skills •Experience working with power tools and hand tools •MIG welding •Hydraulic tube bending and fabrication

•Forklift Operator •Good mechanical aptitude a must •Logical problem-solving and analytical ability •Strong interpersonal and both written and oral communication skills •Motivated self-starter with the ability to organize, prioritize, and schedule work assignments is required. •Sound judgment and decision-making ability •Demonstrates integrity and ethical standards •Maintains a professional demeanor at all times •Team player who works productively with wide range of people

Physical Demands: Lifting up to 35 lbs., bending, assembly, installation & troubleshooting
