<ul> <li>Work and maintain a safe environment.</li> <li>Assist with machine and downstream changeovers as needed.</li> <li>Restart equipment during normal production runs for non-mechanical related issues.</li> <li>Maintain records for Quality, OFF and process improvements.</li> <li>Measure parts in accordance with the control plans and react accordingly to maintain good quality product.</li> <li>Assist with the trouble shooting of issues during startup and production runs.</li> <li>Work with Quality department, process technicians and maintenance and cross train.</li> <li>Promote safety and work safely throughout the facility following all Safety Policies.</li> <li>Wearing all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and required GMP gear.</li> <li>Be aware of all Emergency Exits and know procedures for Emergency Evacuation.</li> <li>Know the location of the <b>SDS</b> Safety Data Sheets and how to utilize properly.</li> <li>Know not to operate any equipment or perform any work without the proper training and authorization to complete the task safely.</li> <li>Always follow proper LOTO lock out/tag out procedures.</li> <li>Never remove or bypass machine guards and NEVER while the machine is in operation.</li> <li>Be cautious and aware of lift trucks and moving equipment.</li> <li>Report all injuries or accidents to the Department Lead or Manager or immediately.</li> <li>Understand and follow plants housekeeping guidelines.</li> <li>Identify and implement lean and continuous improvement actions.</li> <li>All other duties as assigned.</li> <li>Member of the HACCP team upon request.</li> <li>Evaluates and takes appropriate action to maintain a safe work environment with established standards and guidelines.</li> <li>Inspect work areas, and look for unsafe acts/conditions.</li> <li>Effectively us verbal and written communications.</li> <li>Evaluates and takes appropriate action to maintain a safe work environment with established standards and guidelines.</li> <li>Inspect work areas, and look for unsafe acts/conditions.</li> <li>Effectively use verbal and written communications.</li> <li>Maintain a clean and safe working environment.</li> <li>Perform sweeping, cleaning, sorting duties as necessary.</li> <li>Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and procedures.</li></ul> <br> <b>EDUCATION:</b> <br> <br> <b>Preferred</b>: High School diploma or GED equivalent<br> <br> <b>EXPERIENCE:</b> <br> <br> <b>Required: </b>Injection and Blow Molding<br> <br> <b>SKILLS:</b> <br> <br> <b>Required: </b> <br> <ul> <li>Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds continuously throughout the shift.</li> <li>Work involves continuous lifting, bending, reaching and twisting.</li> <li></li></ul> <b>SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (if applicable): </b>This position requires the cognitive and mental ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
