As an Audio Experiences Prototyper on the Audio Research team at our cient's lab, you'll work with world-class scientists, designers, and engineers developing breakthrough technologies necessary for virtual, mixed, and augmented reality. You will develop spatial and perceptual audio experiences for Augmented, Mixed, and Virtual Reality projects that demonstrate the full potential of 3D audio using future-state research technology. Your work will span multiple extended realities domains, both for audio-forward/audio-exclusive experiences and as part of larger multi-sensory and multi-modal experiences, which are used in user research studies, technology demos, and functional prototypes.

Responsibilities: Rapid prototyping of ideas into functional and interactive experiences, which may span software, hardware, and firmware capabilities Collaboration with research scientists to transform experimental hardware, software, and services into prototype interactive experiences. Implementation support for audio features within multi-modal experience development. Minimum Qualifications:

Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a highly collaborative, ambiguous environment. Proficiency with Unity 3D or Unreal. Proficiency with C#. Proficiency with Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs), such as Ableton Live, ProTools, or Logic Pro. Bachelor degree in computer science, music & technology, acoustical engineering, or a related field. Desired Qualifications:

Expert knowledge of Max/MSP Expert knowledge of MATLAB scripting Experience adapting and extending existing codebases Demonstrated basic audio digital signal processing (DSP) experience

The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $55.54 to $61.71 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
