LPN Licensed Practical Nurse - PREMIUM PAY

We Are Hiring:

SHORT TERM OPTION LPN: St. Joseph Place, an Ascension Living community, now offers Short Term Option Licensed Practical Nurse opportunities! As a Short Term Option LPN, you will have the unique opportunity to work for a specific period of time and receive premium compensation for your dedicated commitment in a short term position. 

 

WORK ASSIGNMENT: 8, 12, or 14 week assignments, with a maximum of 14 total weeks

 

WORK SCHEDULE: 36 hours per week, including every other weekend and one holiday

 

RATE OF PAY: $41/HOUR!

What You Will Do:

Provides care to patients under the direction of a registered nurse or physician, functioning within
scope of license.

 

• Contributes to the assessment of patients and assures the well-being of patients.
• Administers medications and observes patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments. 
• Performs laboratory tests and therapeutic services.
• Educates patients/families about disease treatment plan including self care post discharge, holistic health needs, available resources and follow up care.

What You Will Need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED required

Additional Preferences:

Must have 1 year of previous experience.
