) Full-time 40hr week position as Ambulatory Advanced Practice Practitioner supporting Breast and other cancer programs at the TUH Main Campus Medical Oncology practice The position also supports patients in the infusion room at the same location.As needed, the APP is part of the Cancer Center team supporting when 'their' patients are admitted under the care of another service. As the TUH Cancer Center program grows the template will include follow-up with treatment and survivor/surveillance appointments. This position supports a busy outpatient physician clinic in our Broad Street hospital The Advanced Practice Partner provides medical care and care coordination, increases patient access and contributes to improved quality for patients across all disciplines in the Temple Health University System. The Advanced Practitioner practices medicine on healthcare teams with physicians and other providers to improve coordination of care and improve patient outcomes. The Advanced Practitioner takes medical histories, conducts physical exams, diagnoses and treats illnesses, orders and interprets tests, develops treatment plans, counsels on preventive care, assists in surgery and writes prescriptions all in accordance with their scope of practice, licensure guidelines, and in collaboration with the supervising physician. Requirements for CRNP: Education Masters Degree : Nursing (Required) Licenses & Certifications CRNP - PA Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (Required) RN-LIC - PA Registered Nurse License (Required) BLS - Basic Life Support (Required) ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Required) PRX-AUTH - Prescriptive Authority (Preferred) Experience 1 Year experience in a clinical specialty practice (Preferred) 2 Years experience as a nurse practitioner (Preferred) Requirements for PA: Education Other : Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
