Job Title: Leave of Absence Specialist Job Description As a Leave of Absence Specialist, you will oversee leave of absence claim management with the support of our third-party administrator. Your responsibilities include analyzing and tracking data related to denied leaves or employees not returning to work at the end of their approved leave. Engage with state agencies regarding state paid disability and leave programs, and ensure excellent customer service through timely responses and education. You will maintain relationships with HR and benefits teams, managers, employees, and corporate counsel, and participate in audit and compliance projects. Additionally, you will provide instructions and training on leave procedures and oversee the integration of leaves with other functions such as benefits and payroll. Your role is crucial in maintaining our HRIS and managing extensive Excel documents tracking all leaves. Special projects assignments may also be part of your duties. Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Irvine, California. Work Environment This role is based in an office environment in Irvine, part of a collaborative team including four people, including the manager. You'll be working on-site from 8-5, with a team that manages a significant workload, covering extensive leave cases.
