Locum Tenens: Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Physician (Near Bat Cave, NC)
Are you a dedicated and experienced Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine physician seeking a rewarding locum tenens opportunity in a growing community near Bat Cave, NC? We're searching for a skilled physician to join our team and provide vital care to newborns in our Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) on a call-only basis (ASAP - Ongoing).
This locum tenens position offers a flexible work schedule with predictable call hours, allowing you to manage your workload effectively while contributing to exceptional care for our most vulnerable patients.

Qualifications:
  • Board-eligible or board-certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine is required. Fellowship training is preferred.
  • Active medical license in North Carolina (NC) only is mandatory.
  • Current certification in BLS is essential.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a Level II or higher NICU setting is preferred.
  • The ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, critical care environment, demonstrating sound judgment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with patients' families, nurses, and the healthcare team.
  • A commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality, patient-centered care for critically ill newborns.
