Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Urgent Care Discipline: Nurse Practitioner Duration: 26 weeks Employment Type: Locum Tenens Job Details: • Pay: $110 Hr. • Coverage dates: ASAP – 3-6 Months, with good possibility of extension – Providers must have flexibility in schedule. • Schedule: 9a-9:30p - 3-12 Hour shifts weekly with alternating weekends • No Call • Type of Patients/Cases/Procedures: Minimum 1 year ER experience in the past 3 years due to higher acuity patients. Urgent Care – must be comfortable with triaging higher acuity patients, as needed. Murrieta sees 275 patients per day. • Patients per shift: Average 3 patients per hour. 20 Minute appointments for Urgent Care. Providers must be comfortable with Fast Track’s as well as they have them onsite and are 10-minute appointments. • EMR: Epic • Credentialing timeframe: 12 Weeks from time application submitted Requirements: • Active unrestricted CA License & Furnishing License • Active BLS certifications • Minimum 3 years of experience • Also Minimum 1 year ER experience in the past 3 years due to higher acuity patients. • Board Certified • Full-time coverage is mandatory—no deviations from the requested schedule will be accepted. • Must be able to provide at least 2 supervisory references.
