McLaren Northern Michigan is looking for a Critical Care Physician for 24 hour coverage (12 hours onsite, 12 hours on call) for the following dates:
10/24/2024 7pm - 7am Onsite Night 11/1/2024 (on call 7a-7p)
12/23/2024 7am - 7pm Onsite Day 12/31/2024 (on call 7p-7a)
ICU Coverage expectations:
- Perform ICU Admits or consults upon request
- Daily manage & round on all patients on the critical care service
- Perform face to face clinical handoff to the on-coming critical care provider
- Complete all medical record documentation prior to end of work shift
- Submit all professional billable activity by end of work shift
Must be COVID vaccinated.
Provide rates at time of name clear
DEA - Verbal Confirmation Required at Name Clear
Car, Fuel, mileage, hotel is a BR50 cap (including taxes)rental must be refueled before being returned
McLaren does NOT reimburse Med Staff Fees
No lodging booked through 3rd party websites, ie expedia, kayak, etc
McLaren is tax exempt and will not reimburse taxes on lodging
Malpractice rates MUST be included in the rate
Orientation rate is 1/2 the hourly rate
Site uses reverse billing - provider must clock in/out using Kronos - no timesheets will be approved
Expenses covered by client will not exceed the limitations listed in the Travel & Expense policy between McLaren Health Care & AHSA.

Requirement description :
- ALL MUST BE NOTATED AT TIME OF NAME CLEAR
- Board Certified (No BE) - Required
- MI License & CSR at Submission - Required at time of clear, no exceptions - not accepting IMLC
- BLS - Required
- Provider must be local - Highly preferred
- Must have clean background for quick credentialing- REQUIRED no exceptions
- Please submit rates at time of name clear - Required, will not send to client without rates
- Please provide all availability if not available for listed dates about - required
