Location Services Technician – Atlanta, GA

Job Summary : Primary job duty is to receive, service, repair, install, adjust, clean and maintain all equipment and vehicles.

Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following :

• Service and maintain the operating condition of machinery and equipment.
• Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery or equipment.
• Diagnose and repair generators, thermostats, water heater, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Disassemble machinery or equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
• Ability to do service calls when needed.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance.
• Observe and test the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using testing devices.
• Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.
• Receive and inspect equipment (i.e. sanitation cart, glo bugs).
• Prepare and maintain records and reports of inventory.
• Load and unload equipment from trailers and trucks.
• Clean equipment as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications/Experience :

• 1+ years of experience in similar position.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends.
• High School graduated or equivalent job experience.
• General knowledge of trailer manufacturing, repairing trailer components and inventory practices preferred
• Generator repair experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills.
• Valid Driver’s License with positive standing driving record.
• Must display strong customer service and treat all customers in a friendly, polite, positive and helpful manner.
• Must engage work with a high sense of urgency and be detail oriented.
• Must be able to perform job functions with minimal supervision.
• Must perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
• Must be reliable and be flexible in schedule.
• Must operate clean and organized, and maintain all equipment required in job functions.
• Work cohesively with all levels of management, all departments and co-workers as part of a team.
• Adherence to all company guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Work well under pressure of meeting timelines.
• Ability to use senses to ensure quality standards are met.
• Ability to count and inspect a variety of materials accurately and thoroughly.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be okay with loud noises.
• Requires to use of both hands.
• Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending.
• Physical activities required of this job include, but are not limited to: bending, carrying, climbing, crouching, feeling, finger movement, grasping, hearing, kneeling, lifting, pulling, pushing, rapid work speed, speaking, reaching, repetitive motions, seeing, sitting, standing, stooping, talking, twisting, walking, and walking on irregular surfaces.
• Must be able to lift/move/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand walk for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions.
• This position works both indoor and outdoor. Possible exposure to environmental conditions includes heat, cold humidity, noise, dust and wetness.
• Ascend/descend stairs to enter and exit vehicles.
• Ascend/descend ladders.
• Take reasonable and necessary precautions to ensure personal health and safety.
• Report to management or follow procedure as established in Safety Program any and all conditions that may be affecting the safety and health of the workplace.
• Report to management all occurrences that cause injury or damage to any person or property.
• Comply with the Company Safety Program, Policies and Procedures.

Compensation:

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour.

The salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including but not limited to market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, external market and internal value, including seniority and merit systems, and internal pay alignment. In compliance with the California Law, a potential new employee’s salary history will not be used in compensation decisions.
