Job Title: Local Contract - Interventional Radiologist Technologist Number of positions: 1Years of experience: One to three years Shift: Night shifts- 36 hours Duration: 13 weeksStart Date: 01/14/2024Hourly pay: $54.77OT: 1.5Weekly Pay: $2,053.88JOB DESCRIPTIONDepartment: Cardiac Cath Labs Shift Timings: 07:00 - 17:00 Monday to friday (4 days/8 hours)Per Week: 40 HoursARRT required 2 years of Neuro IR Lab experience required one day off On-call required, 30 min response time On call 2 nights/week and every third weekendRoles & ResponsibilitiesPreparing examination rooms for patient radiopharmaceuticals to obtain clear, usable images.Positioning patients and equipment, explaining the procedures, and ensuring patients' comfort.Inserting commands and data into the computer to document and specify the scan sequences, and monitoring the video display to adjust the density or contrast.Monitoring patients during examinations, ensuring their safety, and following procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to diagnostic images, reporting important information to the Physician, and updating patients' records.Organizing the daily procedure schedules for emergencies and monitoring radiographic supplies.Performing administrative tasks, such as answering technical questions, scheduling appointments, and offering pre-procedure advice.Performing scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment.QUALIFICATIONSBLS and ACLSNational Institutes of Health (NIH)Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.The ability to stand for extended periods.Strong technical skills.Knowledge of medical terminologyPassionate about patient careRequires a minimum of two years of current Cardiac Cath Lab Interventional Radiology Technologist experience.
