WE ARE LOOKING TO HIRE FULL TIME REGISTERED NURSES FOR ALL SHIFTS!
The Phoenix Center for Rehabilitation & Pediatrics is a skilled nursing facility caring for both the geriatrics and pediatrics populations. We are currently seeking Registered Nurses for both units for ALL 3 shifts.

Responsibilities as a Registered Nurse:
Be able to handle complexity of a Pediatrics unit
Ability to care for patients with NGT, GT, Tracheostomy, wound care, and temperature instability
Be able to care for patients on a ventilator machine
Play an active role in direct resident assessment and care
Supervise and coordinate nursing personnel in providing direct resident care in adherence to State and Federal regulations
Dispense medication and perform treatments in accordance with Phoenix Center policies and procedures
Formulate individualized nursing care plans utilizing the nursing process
Assess each resident daily and implement a change in the course of action as needed
Assist the physician on rounds and ensure that pertinent information is communicated to and from him/her and orders are taken correctly
Participate in the training and supervision of nursing personnel
Assists with implementation of facilitys Quality Improvement Program
Assume responsibility for the identification of potential safety hazards and for the identification of non-compliance with facility guidelines
Maintain accurate resident care records and documents
Attend and participate in the resident care meetings, staff meetings, and in-services
Take an active role in teaching and guidance to residents, families, and staff
Assure that each residents attending physician and family, or responsible party are promptly notified of any significant change in the residents health condition
Effectively utilize the general principles of leadership and supervision
Manage conflict through effective problem-solving and communication skills
Act calmly and efficiently in handling emergency situations
Requirements for a Registered Nurse:
Completion of an accredited school of practical nursing
Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
