Director, Business Solutions - Permanant - Cary, NC/ Hybrid - $100,000 - $120,000

Our client is seeking a Director, Business Solutions in Cary, NC/ Hybrid.
Role Description
• The Sales Executive is responsible and accountable for all new revenue generation, sales processes, and sales pipeline management.
• He/she is accountable for committing to short-term success, forecasting future revenue and strategy across all segments and functions in sales.
• The Sales Executive is responsible for the success of each sales team member in meeting/exceeding their new business goals individually and as a team.
• Should be a "player/coach" closing direct new business with the most complex, high-value opportunities while providing the support needed to the sales team as they close their opportunities.
• Must work collaboratively with the extended teams to lead and develop the organizational culture through inspiration, leadership, integrity, and accountability.
• Meeting sales targets for him/herself and for the team
• Building and managing a sales pipeline
• Maintaining existing customer relationships and looking for cross- and upsell opportunities.
Skills & Requirements
• Manage sales process through qualification, needs analysis, product demonstration, negotiation and close.
• Develop and maintain a high level of industry knowledge and Railinc's offerings.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Railinc customers, partners, and other third parties to increase opportunities.
• Be an active team player both on the sales team and throughout Railinc to help meet company objectives.
• Coach and mentor other members of the Sales team.
• Proficiency in MS Office and sales tools such as HubSpot.
• Required travel up to 20%.
• Bachelor's level degree in Business Administration, or related discipline
• 5+years of successful B2B sales experience with an emphasis on acquiring new customers preferred
• Documented success achieving and exceeding assigned quotas.
• Consultative, solution-based sales methodology.
• Logistics/ supply chain experience with a focus on rail or trucking highly preferred.
• Experience working with and presenting to C level executives
