Sprague Energy, a division of Sprague Operating Resources located in Washington, PA, is a leading fuel supplier in the tri-state area specializing in serving a broad range of drilling and production, commercial, and residential customers.

The

Customer Service Representative

in our Washington, PA office is responsible for providing customer service for internal/external customers and vendors. This position will collaborate with all departments to meet overall objectives and stay up to date on all company products and/or services to provide excellent customer care.

Answering phone calls and emails from customers to answer questions, process orders, and update all information Process orders with accuracy; verify information such as delivery address, contact information, products, pricing, payment type, and obtain purchase orders Prepares and maintains required reports, spreadsheets and documents as needed Process previous day’s drivers work; review work to ensure all necessary paperwork is present, confirm/process payments, create import numbers, and copy tickets as needed Handle new customer inquiries; send/receive documents and paperwork in a timely and professional manner Prepare cash, check, and card payments received in driver’s work, in office, or via phone Managing reoccurring company delivery orders by ensuring a delivery schedule has been set up in the system and reviewing call tickets for accuracy Perform general office duties which include maintaining records of packages received/delivered, copy, file and update paper and electronic documents, mailing statements, and assisting in special projects as needed Conduct outbound calls during non-peak season, including prospecting calls to potential new customers as well as calling accounts in customer master to drive incremental sales and inform those customers of current/upcoming promotions, etc. Assist with managing AR collection accounts: reviewing accounts and contacting customers via phone and/or email Opening/Closing the office; count cash drawer, turn off lights, lock doors, etc. *All other duties as assigned

Qualified candidates for this role will have the following:

High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred 1-2 years of customer service experience required High attention to detail with the ability to multitask Works well under pressure and with deadlines Must have Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word, Teams, etc.) Ability to work overtime as needed including weekends and holidays Ability to lift, carry and push/pull up to 50lbs Ability to work in a sitting position at a desk for long periods of time What we offer:
