Job Summary:

Counts money from table drop boxes/slot currency boxes. Essential Duties And Responsibilities: Maintains a thorough working knowledge of laws, rules and regulations of the Gaming Commission, as well as policies, procedures and controls Ensures the integrity of all count room transactions Opens drop boxes from each table game using drop box key and empties contents (including game openers and closers) onto count table where money chips are sorted, bundled and stacked Opens and closes slot machine doors, pulling and pushing chairs in and out, interacts verbally with guests Push, pull and load large carts with slot currency boxes Completes the Master Game Report and reports each games win/loss Insure that proper paperwork is completed at the beginning and end of shift Counts currency found in slot machine bill acceptor boxes Counts currency found in Table Games boxes Counts revenue from F&B banks Counts revenue from Poker Tables This position includes the lifting of chip and cash boxes Must be able to work in a confined workspace with a group of people Performs other job related duties as assigned

Qualifications: Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Ability to count and sort large sums of money and chips in a fast and accurate manner. Strong math and money-handling skills are a necessity. Ability to lift multiple metal drop boxes that may weigh up to 50 to 75 lbs. Must possess a high regard for guest service and team member relations. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of six months previous cage and/or vault cashier experience required.

LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS: Must undergo and successfully pass a background investigation to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Morongo Gaming Agency.

LANGUAGE SKILLS : Tact and diplomacy are essential. Ability to interpret documents such as rules and regulations, instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to guests or team members.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. REASONING ABILITY : Ability to solve practical problems. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand; Requires ability to constantly reach with hands and arms; required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Uses hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk or hear. Lifting, twisting and turning carrying items on a constant basis. The team member is occasionally required to sit. Ability to lift multiple metal drop boxes that may weigh up to 75 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. This is a fast paced work environment and the position requires the ability to cope with it. The casino environment has moderate to loud noise levels and is a smoking environment. WORKING HOURS: Because we are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, most positions require flexibility in scheduling and may require team members be available for evenings, weekends, holidays and special events. A typical workweek and normal work schedules may vary based on business needs and may include scheduled shifts Monday through Sunday. Position may require overtime.
