We are seeking an experienced individual to join our Allstate agency as a Licensed Customer Service Representative to specialize in advocating for our clients with claims satisfaction, brokerage policies, and billing issues.


The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of property and casualty insurance claims, preferably with previous experience at Allstate, coupled with excellent research skills. This role primarily focuses on providing outstanding research support to our retention specialists while also assisting with back-end office duties and administrative tasks. We are one of the largest Allstate offices in Oregon, so the ability to handle a large call volume and task prioritization is a must.

Responsibilities
  • Handle claims questions and follow-up on claims situations in office.
  • Utilize strong research skills to investigate issues with claims, billing, brokers, and other complex issues.
  • Assist sales teams with quoting policies at brokerage companies
  • Administrating brokerage plans, including commercial service work.
  • Handle backend office duties such as data entry, note-keeping, and document management.
  • Support in-house retention specialists and serve as backup on phones for customer service as needed.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate notes of issues and solutions related to claims, billing, brokers, and other complex issues.

Requirements
  • Property and Casualty insurance license
  • Previous remote work ( preference will be given to local candidates who can work a hybrid schedule, as well as remote candidates in the Pacific time zone )
  • Previous experience in claims processing, preferably with Allstate.
  • Strong background in customer service with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional note-keeping skills.
  • Proficient in Windows 11, Outlook, Google Drive, and Dropbox
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities.
