Job Description Job Description Our small, family-oriented, and growing company is seeking to hire a key role of a Lead Install / Site Supervisor. This position will collaborate with the project manager and owner to construct and install a wide variety of shade products. Job Requirements and Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to project manager and owner by giving updates on project timelines as tasks are completed and inform manager of issues or concerns when appropriate.
  • Work with our team of crew members by providing instruction and direction during the project installation.
  • Determine the appropriate materials and supplies necessary for each step of the job and generate accurate lists of everything that is required.
  • Understand the processes and principles to erects scaffolding and ladders for installing structures above ground levels for a safe working environment.
  • Understand specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required.
  • Ability to solve mathematical problems quickly and accurately.
  • Thorough understanding of carpentry principles and methods.
  • Works well as part of a team.
  • Follows established company and government safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Inspect products and conduct repairs or maintenance as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications: ·         High school diploma or equivalent ·         Experience with Microsoft suites ·         Completion of a carpentry program at a vocational school or carpentry apprenticeship preferred ·         4+ years of professional carpentry experience ·         Strong working knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods, including installation and construction ·         Able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings ·         Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation ·         Capable of receiving and following instructions and communicating with co-workers ·         Able to read and adhere to labels, safety warnings, and guidelines ·         Attentive to detail and always alert to ensure safety

Physical Requirements: ·         Good physical condition, stamina, and dexterity. ·         Prolonged periods standing, climbing, bending, and kneeling. ·         Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at a time. ·         Must be comfortable working on a ladder or scaffolding. ·         Must be able to safely work with power equipment. ·         Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and terrains. ·         Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination.

Work Hours & Benefits: ·         Full-time hours, not seasonal ·         Overtime available ·         2 weeks paid vacation upon completion of a 3-month trial period. ·         Additional Paid time off which includes paid holidays and additional flexible company directed paid time off as allowed within current project schedules, especially around significant holidays. ·         Additional benefits will be discussed during the interview process. ·         Wages or salary starting at $25 an hour, or commensurate based on exhibited experience.
