SUMMARY: The Perioperative Clinical Lead RN works with and assists the Practice Manager in overseeing the delivery of our trusted brand of service, the Sono Bello patient experience, and the efficient operations of daily clinical activities. Partnering with the Practice Manager, the Perioperative Clinical Lead RN puts our patients experience, safety and concerns above all else. The Perioperative Clinical Lead RN has some responsibility for the performance of clinical team members, and is both empowered to and assists with setting expectations and developing clinical team members in their dual roles of building patient and doctor satisfaction.
  • ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to the following):
  • Oversee and support day-to-day clinical activities in an accredited out-patient surgical facility to include; delivering the Sono Bello patient experience and efficiencies of clinical operations.
  • Ability to step in, when needed, to cover as RN Circulator, PACU RN or other clinical roles according to skill set.
  • Ensures that Monthly EOC is completed along and all required daily, weekly, quarterly, annual and semi- annual logs competed for the clinic and timely submission.
  • Responsible for building and communicating an effective nurse
  • Oversees Clinical Supply ordering and management (including garments).
  • Participates in interviewing clinical candidates.
  • Trains and develops clinical team along with oversight from the Practice Manager.
  • Assists with clinical team members 90 day & annual performance.
  • Oversee Peer Reviews ensuring accurate completion and timely quarterly
  • Reviews and signs off on Clinical Chart Audits and verifies completed procedures in
  • Ensures Photo standardization policies are being met along with the uploading of patient photos to the
  • Oversight of QA/QI
  • Promotes and assists with overall efficiency of the clinic-on time starts, OR turnarounds, and on time appointment
  • Assists with clinical input for two team meetings each
  • Participates in regular PM/PCC communication tool and discussion (with Practice Manager).
  • Conducts three patient 'roundings' each
  • Assist with: Efficiency, Medical Supply Ordering, Post Op
  • Ensuring that medical equipment is in working order, properly maintained and accounted
  • Collaborates with Practice Manager on patient escalation resolution).
  • Reviews clinical assignments/schedule
  • Reviews Zenoti and BI tool for
  • Assists the PM with AAAHC preparedness and associated files are kept up to date with appropriate
  • Bi-weekly meeting with Practice Manager.
  • Meets with and assists with minimal administrative duties as
  • Special projects as Appropriateness to be determined by Director of Surgery.
  • SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to the following):
This position assists in the supervision of clinical team member task execution including registered nurses, medical assistants, licensed practical nurses/licensed vocational nurses and other clinical support. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

  • EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
BSN Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Registered Nurse required.
Two or more years of Perioperative nursing experience (OR Circulator or PACU).
Experience as Charge Nurse or Board Runner preferred.
Experience in Plastic Surgery a plus.
  • OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Possess experience or ability to perform audits utilizing established standards and systems, with the ability to communicate results and deficiencies in a manner that will impact outcomes. Must be proficient with MS Office and have the ability to learn a variety of computer operating systems. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters in an appropriate way.
  • LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals, and technical journals. Ability to write reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of customers or employees of the organization.
VII. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
VIII. REASONING ABILITY
Ability to conduct analysis of data from differing data sources with the ability to infer and summarize results. Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

  • WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position works in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate as compared to a private office with light traffic and computer printers.
COMPENSATION:
At Sono Bello, we believe that our team members are the keys to our success. The compensation range for this role is $48-$53.62 per hour depending on experience.
