Established Landscape Maintenance, Landscape Construction, Snow & Ice Management Company in Okemos, Michigan in operation since 1996. We are looking to fill 1 landscape foreman & leadership position.
Requirements for position:
-Have a valid Michigan Chauffer driver license minumum, CDL preferred
-Reliable transportation to and from work

-Ability to pass drug screening

-Working knowledge & ability to use common landscape tools

-Equipment Operation Experience
-Team Leadership Experience
-BONUS: Pesticide Applicators (3A,3B,6,7F) License

Possible Related Job Position Activities:
-Assist support staff in work methods and processes related to landscape maintenance and construction.
-Ability to operate equipment used in landscape maintenance and construction.
-Perform landscape installations including hardscapes, trees, shrubs, lawns, mulches
-Assist with grading, digging, back filling, hauling, loading operations with construction equipment and hand held tools.
-Operate trucks including truck/trailer combinations for transporting heavy equipment, implements, materials and supplies.
-Operate and perform regular maintenance inspections for light-medium duty trucks and trailers.
-Perform manual labor including shoveling and raking.
-The ability to work in variable weather conditions.
-Frequent lifting of over 75 pounds.
Base Pay Rate:
Starting Pay ranges $15-$19/hour based upon previous experience, skills and ability to perform daily tasks. We promote from within; opportunities for advancements & promotions available within the company. We invest in our employees, certifications and advanced industry related education is encouraged. Work extensions through the winter months also available.
Work Schedule, Hours of Operation:
Summer weekly hours of work Monday-Friday, 40-50 hours per week... March - November.
Additional Snow removal opportunities available throughout winter.
